No. Unlike non-breathable ski pants or heavy nylon windbreakers, MountainWarmth pants use a micro-porous thermal fleece lining that insulates without trapping moisture. It retains your natural body heat outdoors, but breathes freely the moment you walk into a heated cafe, office, or car. You stay comfortably warm, never clammy.
They feature a tailored straight-leg cut with 4-way stretch fabric and a comfort-stretch waistband with an internal drawstring. If you have athletic thighs or fall between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for a relaxed fit, or staying true to size for a sleek, tailored look. If you need a different size, our US exchanges are completely free.
Zero swish. The exterior is crafted from a soft, matte-finish technical stretch twill—not crinkly nylon or loud waterproof shell fabric. From the outside, they look and drape like premium everyday trousers or tailored chinos, making them completely quiet and appropriate for work and casual wear.
The exterior is treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish and woven tightly to create a physical barrier against sub-zero wind chills. Light rain, snow flurry, and slush bead right off instead of soaking through, while the thermal fleece interior traps radiant warmth down to 14°F (-10°C).
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors, then line dry or tumble dry on low. Our thermal microfleece is anti-pill treated and pre-shrunk, meaning the interior remains plush, ultra-soft, and true-to-fit even after dozens of washes. No special dry cleaning required.
